You only get one chance to make a first impression, and David Schlemko nailed it.

Appearing in his first game for the Calgary Flames since being claimed off the waiver wire, the defenseman dropped an absolutely filthy shootout move on Tuukka Rask to give his new club a road victory over the Boston Bruins.

Schlemko, who saw only seven minutes of ice time through regulation and overtime, was the eighth shooter for the Flames - a hunch that paid off big for head coach Bob Hartley.

The extra point was critical for both clubs, who find themselves in dogfights for playoff spots in their respective conferences.
