Tyler Kennedy: (Upper Body) Late Scratch Tuesday

Kennedy was a late scratch for Tuesday's game with an upper-body injury, reports Newsday's Arthur Staple.

Analysis:

There's no word yet on when Kennedy suffered the injury, as he was believed to be fully healthy when the Islanders acquired him from the Sharks prior to Monday's trade deadline. Obviously, this isn't an ideal start to Kennedy's stint with the Islanders, but the team appears to be considering him day-to-day at this time. Kael Mouillierat will remain in the lineup with Kennedy unavailable.
