The Toronto Maple Leafs are out of the playoff hunt and into the draft lottery race, and some fans are getting on board.

A group of Toronto fans arrived at Tuesday's road game against the Florida Panthers wearing Maple Leafs jerseys with "McDavid" on the back, in reference to top draft prospect Connor McDavid.

The fans were smart enough to attach the name to the jersey in a temporary fashion, in case Toronto doesn't win the McDavid lottery and selects one of the other highly touted prospects available like Jack Eichel, Mitch Marner or Dylan Strome.

The Maple Leafs are 3-6-1 in their last 10 games and enter Tuesday tied with the Carolina Hurricanes at 55 points - the fourth-lowest point total in the league.
