Analysis:

Mason was superb Saturday against the Rangers in his first start since returning from a knee injury, turning away 32 of 34 pucks to score his 12th victory of the season. He'll look to bring up his record to .500 against the Flames, who learned a day earlier that their best player, defenseman Mark Giordano, would miss the rest of the season with a torn biceps tendon. Mason looks like a serviceable play against a deflated team, as his ratios (.926 save percentage, 2.25 GAA) have belied his rather pedestrian record this season.
