The Ottawa Senators were winners of five straight games heading into Tuesday's showdown against the Minnesota Wild.

The contest turned out to be a dandy of a game with Ottawa clawing back after being down 2-0 early.

In the first period, the Senators' Bobby Ryan tied the game after taking a nice feed from Mike Hoffman, which he laser-beamed into the top corner, beating Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk.

The Wild would win the game in a shootout 3-2, ending the Senators' winning streak in the process.
