Flyers' Grossmann to miss contest against Flames

Eric Hartline / USA Today

Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Nicklas Grossman will miss Tuesday's game against the Calgary Flames with an undisclosed upper-body injury, reports Wayne Fish of the Bucks County Courier Times.

Flyers head coach Craig Berube said that Grossman would not be ready for the game, which has playoff implications as both Calgary and Philadelphia are in the race.

Adam Kimelman of the NHL reports that Grossmann was not on the ice for pregame warmups and could be replaced by Carlo Colaiacovo.

Grossmann has nine points in 53 games.
