Red Wings' Erik Cole delivers Jamie Benn's apology to new teammate Zetterberg

Detroit Red Wings forward Erik Cole practiced with his new teammates for the first time on Tuesday, and he brought a message along with him.
Cole met Henrik Zetterberg and passed along former Dallas Stars teammate Jamie Benn's apology for a hit that injured the Red Wings captain last month.
Benn punched Zetterberg in the side of the head during a game on Feb. 21 and the Detroit forward has missed all four games since.
Cole was acquired in a trade on Sunday that also involved a pair of prospects and two picks.
He scored 18 goals and added 15 assists in 57 games prior to the deal.
