Mats Zuccarello showed why he's worth $18 million to the New York Rangers with a great play in the second period of Monday's game against the Nashville Predators.
Zuccarello found enough space on the side boards to feed Chris Kreider in the slot with a perfect pass. All Kreider needed to do was redirect the puck around Pekka Rinne to tie a career high with his 17th goal.
Zuccarello also collected an assist on Marc Staal's goal in the first period for his seventh multipoint performance of 2014-15.
