Hammond will be in the crease for Tuesday's game against the Wild, Wayne Scanlan of the Ottawa Citizen reports.

Analysis:

Hammond was named the NHL's first star of the week Monday after scoring road shutouts of the Ducks and Kings and stopping 28 of 30 shots in Saturday's victory over the Sharks. The goalie's unexpectedly hot play will allow him to earn another start Tuesday, but his standing on the Senators' depth chart beyond that remains in flux. Craig Anderson (hand) was activated from IR and is slated to serve as the backup goalie Tuesday, with his return to starting duty likely to come Wednesday against the Jets. Look for coach Dave Cameron to keep both goalies involved while Hammond remains hot, but once the magical run comes to an end, so could his playing time.
