Ehrhoff, who was scratched for Sunday's game against the Blue Jackets, was on the ice for Monday's practice, Dave Molinari of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Analysis:

After Ehrhoff returned from a month-long absence last week following his bout with a concussion, coach Mike Johnston elected to rest the blueliner for Sunday's game. There was some fear that Ehrhoff's concussion symptoms might have resurfaced following his return to action, but it appears his removal from Sunday's lineup was just a precautionary measure. Look for him to be back in action Wednesday against the Avalanche.
