Flyers sign Bellemare to multiyear contract extension

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed forward Pierre-Edouard Bellemare to a multiyear contract extension, according to Flyers general manager Ron Hextall.
Tim Panaccio of CSN Philly reports that the deal is for two years with a total value of $1.425 million.
Bellemare came to the Flyers from Swedish hockey club Skelleftea AIK, where he spent five seasons and posted a total of 64 goals and 61 assists in 238 games.
Bellemare turns 30 on Friday and has collected four goals and four assists for eight points in 62 games.
