The Toronto Maple Leafs blue-liner - and subject of trade speculation ahead of Monday's deadline - could also receive a call from the NHL's disciplinary office after this nasty hit on Washington Capitals forward Marcus Johansson.

Polak escaped with just a minor penalty on the play, but with Johansson having his back turned for the entire sequence, the NHL will most certainly have a look.
