Another player may be heading to the Big Apple from Ohio.

The Blue Jackets and New York Rangers are no strangers on the trade market, and the latter are believed to be among those most interested in acquiring forward Cam Atkinson, according to Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Post Dispatch

The Boston Bruins are also believed to have strong interest.

Portzline further reports that Atkinson's camp recently made an effort to secure a new deal for the soon-to-be restricted free agent, with seemingly little success.

The 25-year-old has scored 50 goals in 198 career games, and is averaging 2.7 shots per game in that span.
