The Boston Bruins stuck to their guns.
They were in on the trade negotiations surrounding Antoine Vermette, but unwilling to part with the first-round selection required to jimmy the two-way pivot from the Arizona Coyotes, according to CSNNE's Joe Haggerty.
Of course, the Chicago Blackhawks were, packaging Klas Dahlbeck and their top selection this summer for Vermette.
The Bruins - four points up on the Florida Panthers for eighth place in the East - are still believed to be actively pursuing help up front.
