Nikolay Kulemin extended his point streak to three games with a goal in the second period of Saturday's contest against the Carolina Hurricanes.
The New York Islanders forward overpowered Justin Faulk, knocking the Hurricanes defenseman to the ice as he charged toward the goal and beat Cam Ward with a wrist shot.

Kulemin has a goal and three assists in his streak. He entered Saturday with no goals since Jan. 19.
