Tuukka Rask: (Illness) Could Play Saturday

With the Bruins demoting Jeremy Smith to AHL Providence, Rask (illness) should be available in at least a backup capacity Saturday against the Coyotes, Amalie Benjamin of the Boston Globe reports.

Analysis:

Rask was scratched from Friday's win over the Devils with the illness, as No. 2 netminder Niklas Svedberg led the Bruins to victory while Smith slotted in as his backup. Coach Claude Julien indicated after the game that Rask had been feeling better prior to being scratched, and it appears his condition continued to trend in the right direction overnight. Still, the Bruins' goalie plans for Saturday's game likely won't be clarified until pregame warmups.
