Tomas Fleischmann: Dealt to Anaheim

Fleischmann was acquired by the Ducks on Saturday in exchange for forward Dany Heatley and a 2015 third-round draft pick, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.

Analysis:

The Ducks were still in need of some extra depth on the wing with Matt Beleskey (shoulder) still a week to 10 days away from a return to action, and Fleischmann should help fill that need, while also giving the roster more options down the stretch. Fleischmann had been juggled up and down the Panthers' lineup all season, generating seven goals, 14 assists and a plus-12 rating over 52 games. Unless he latches on to a top-line role next to Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry, Fleischmann's fantasy value isn't likely to notice a substantial rise or fall with the move to Anaheim.
