Yakupov (groin) will return to the Edmonton lineup Saturday against St. Louis, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports.

Analysis:

Yakupov missed Tuesday's game against Minnesota with the groin ailment, but appeared to shake off the injury quickly. He returned to full practice Thursday without any issues, so he'll be cleared to slot back in on Edmonton's second line, where he'll join Teddy Purcell and Derek Roy. Yakupov was playing his best hockey of the season prior to the succumbing to the minor injury, producing four goals and five assists over his last eight games. Hopefully, the short absence won't do much to disrupt his rhythm.
