VIDEO: Bruins' Svedberg kicks out left pad to rob Devils' Cammalleri in slot

Brace Hemmelgarn / USA Today

Some great forechecking by Jordin Tootoo created an excellent chance for Mike Cammalleri to extend his scoring streak midway through the second period, but Boston Bruins netminder Niklas Svedberg had other plans.

Tootoo leveled Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid behind Boston's net and sent the puck into the slot for Cammalleri, who one-timed a shot towards the far side of the net. Svedberg tracked the pass tracked the pass perfectly and got his left pad on Cammalleri's shot, keeping the New Jersey Devils off the scoreboard.
