The Los Angeles Kings have locked up a depth player for the second consecutive day.
The Kings signed forward Kyle Clifford to a five-year contract extension, the team announced Wednesday.
Clifford has three goals and seven assists in 57 games. The Kings signed forward Jordan Nolan to a three-year extension Tuesday.
Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reports the average annual value of Clifford's deal is $1.6 million, meaning the full contract is worth $8 million.
