Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price is having the best season of his NHL career, and added another major accomplishment to it Tuesday night.

Price stopped 27-of-29 shots in a 5-2 win over the St. Louis Blues, setting a new franchise record for consecutive road victories.

The Canadiens have won two straight games and seven of their last 10. They sit atop the Eastern Conference with 83 points.

Price is 34-11-3 with a .935 save percentage, a 1.91 goals-against average and five shutouts in 48 games. He's the favorite for the Vezina Trophy and would certainly be a reasonable Hart Trophy candidate.
