Burakovsky is poised to return to the lineup for Wednesday night's game against the Penguins, Alex Prewitt of the Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

Burakovsky took line rushes with Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom during Wednesday's morning skate, so it looks like he'll draw back in after serving as a healthy scratch for Sunday's loss to the Flyers. Though he only has nine goals and 21 points on the season, Burakovsky warrants lineup consideration in daily formats while he skates next to two of the game's top talents. His value is a bit more muddled in season-long formats, as he remains part of a right-wing-by-committee approach right now, so it's difficult to trust him for more than an occasional start.
