VIDEO: Canucks' Lack robs Bruins' Paille with Soderberg on top of him

Winslow Townson / USA Today

Goaltenders aren't usually asked to make saves with opponents draped on top of them, but Eddie Lack did just that for the Vancouver Canucks during Tuesday's game against the Boston Bruins.

Bruins forward Carl Soderberg screened Lack on a shot by Loui Eriksson and the rebound bounced to Daniel Paille. Paille fired the puck at a seemingly open net while Adam Clendening pushed Soderberg onto the Canucks netminder, but Lack somehow got his glove on the puck while falling to the ice to keep the score level in the second period.

Lack finished with 40 saves as Vancouver prevailed 2-1.
