VIDEO: Penguins' Crosby fires PP goal through traffic vs. Capitals

Billy Hurst / USA Today

Sidney Crosby did a good impersonation of Alex Ovechkin to score his first goal in six games Wednesday against the Washington Capitals.

The Pittsburgh Penguins captain set up in Ovechkin's office at the top of the faceoff circle on a power play and fired a wrist shot through traffic past Braden Holtby for his 20th tally following some great work by teammate Evgeni Malkin.

Ovechkin responded with a power-play goal of his own late in the third period, but the Penguins hung on for a 4-3 victory to avoid a sweep in their four-game season series against Washington. Crosby was held without a point in Pittsburgh's previous three meetings with the Capitals.
