VIDEO: Blackhawks score controversial goal as Toews tumbles into Ducks' Andersen

Gary A. Vasquez / USA Today

The Anaheim Ducks were very upset after the Chicago Blackhawks scored on a play that included contact with goaltender Frederik Andersen.

Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith blasted a point shot to give Chicago a 2-0 lead midway through the game, but Jonathan Toews appeared to fall on top of Andersen at the same time, impeding the netminder's ability to play the puck.

Officials ruled the play was incidental contact and counted the goal, much to the dismay of the Ducks and their fans. Replays showed Anaheim defenseman Clayton Stoner bumping Toews in the direction of the crease, but it's not clear whether that contact was enough to propel Toews onto Andersen.

Chicago prevailed 4-1.
