Canucks recall newly-acquired Adam Clendening

Adam Clendining won't have to wait too long to show the Vancouver Canucks what he's made of.

Acquired from the Chicago Blackhawks in a trade involving Gustav Forsling, the 22-year-old defenseman has been recalled from the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, general manager Jim Benning has announced.

Clendening appeared in four games for the Blackhawks, with a goal and an assist to his credit. He recorded a goal and 12 assists in 38 AHL contests.
