Varlamov has started 13 of the past 14 games for the Avalanche, so it comes as no surprise that he will receive the first two starts coming out of the All-Star break. He struggled a bit in his last outing, surrendering four goals on 39 shots against the Predators, but will look for a better result in the rematch Friday back at the friendly confines of the Pepsi Center.
