Analysis:

Lupul has resumed on-ice activity over the last couple of days, but wasn't as advanced in his recovery from injury as Peter Holland (upper body) and Leo Komarov (shoulder), both of whom were cleared to return to action Wednesday. The winger would seem to have a feasible chance at playing Thursday against the Coyotes for the second game of a back-to-back set.
