NHL Game Summary - Anaheim at Vancouver

Vancouver, BC (SportsNetwork.com) - Frederik Andersen turned aside 17 shots for his third shutout of the season to guide the Anaheim Ducks to a 4-0 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday.

Rickard Rakell had a goal and an assist while Patrick Maroon, Matt Beleskey and Kyle Palmieri also scored for the Ducks, who have ripped off six straight victories.

Ryan Miller allowed three goals on 23 shots for the Canucks, who have lost their past two.

"When we're playing catchup we're playing a different game than we want to," Canucks forward Radim Vrbata said.

Anaheim got on the board at 13:43 of the first on a rush play that saw Hampus Lindholm leave a drop pass at the left point for Beleskey, who blasted a shot home for his 18th of the season.

"We talk a lot out there and try to make it easier for each other. If you play against good guys like the Sedins, you have to have a good gap and be tight on them so they can't make plays," said Lindholm.

Skating on the power play, the Ducks took a 2-0 lead at 7:19 of the second when Palmieri's shot from the right wing squeezed between the pads of Miller.

Rakell put the game away at 9:20 of the third on a heavy wrister from the slot that hit off a Canuck stick and went in.

Maroon notched an empty-netter inside the final minute to account for the final score.
