Report: Senators place Colin Greening on waivers

Unable to find a trade partner, Ottawa Senators general manager has taken a different step towards jettisoning forward Colin Greening.

The club has placed the forward on waivers, as first reported by Darren Dreger of TSN.

Greening, 28, has one goal in 20 games to his credit, and remains under contract with the Senators at $2 million this season, $2.75 million next season and $3.2 million in 2016-17.
