Nashville Predators defenseman Shea Weber provided the best highlight of the Hardest Shot competition Saturday night, but it wasn't enough for Team Toews to win the event.

Team Foligno recorded the top speed in the first three matchups and took a 3-0 lead before Weber exploded for a 108.5 mile-per-hour shot that made it 3-2 in the final round.

Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin outshot Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook, Brent Burns of the San Jose Sharks beat Florida Panthers blue-liner Aaron Ekblad and Tampa Bay Lightning forward Steven Stamkos defeated Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Justin Faulk.

Weber's cannonading shot beat Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien.
