Maple Leafs turning to Bernier for second game in 2 nights

Losers of seven in a row, the Toronto Maple Leafs will attempt to ride goaltender Jonathan Bernier to a win over the Arizona Coyotes.

Bernier - who stopped 22 of 23 shots in a 2-1 shootout loss to the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday - will get the nod in net for the second night in a row, head coach Peter Horachek has confirmed.

Bernier has been called to make the quick turnaround once this season, beating the New York Rangers in the second game after losing to the Pittsburgh Penguins the night before in the club's second and third games of the season.

In 35 appearances, Bernier posted a record of 16-14-4 with a .914 save percentage. He's also achieved a great measure of success against the Coyotes in the past:
