Montreal Canadiens forward Alex Galchenyuk is showing flashes of his potential in this third season, and he did it again on Tuesday night.
Galchenyuk cruised down the wing, cut in front and buried a backhand shot past Dallas Stars goaltender Kari Lehtonen, giving the Canadiens a 2-0 lead in the first period at the Bell Centre.
The goal was Galchenyuk's 13th in 46 games.
