The National Hockey League announced its three stars for the week that was, with a noted emphasis on goal-scoring.

Dustin Byfuglien led defenseman with three goals and ranked third among skaters in points, leading the Winnipeg Jets to four consecutive wins. The All-Star ranks seventh in scoring from the blue line, having notched 31 points in 47 games this season.

Detroit Red Wings forward Tomas Tatar tied for the league-lead with seven points this week, helping his team compile four straight wins. His five-goal surge vaulted him into a tie for seventh in league goal-scoring.

Kyle Okposo helped pace all goal-scorers, finishing with five in a three-game span this week. The New York Islanders' top-line winger netted the first hat trick of his career in a comeback win over the Pittsburgh Penguins, finishing with four goals on the night.
