Anaheim Ducks forward Tim Jackman left Monday's game against the San Jose Sharks after being leveled by Sharks pugilist John Scott after the whistle.

Jackman briefly laid motionless on the ice before skating off under his own power.

He will not return to the game and was under evaluation during the second intermission, the Ducks announced.

Scott was not penalized on the play, but San Jose forward Andrew Desjardins was given a minor for goaltender interference during the stoppage.
