Devils' Elias, Havlat being tested for mumps

The New Jersey Devils are dreaming of a mumps-free Christmas.
Head coach Peter DeBoer confirmed Monday that Patrik Elias and Martin Havlat are being tested for the virus after missing practice due to illness.
Teammates Travis Zajac and Adam Larsson both fell prey to the virus earlier this season.
The Devils play a home game Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes.
