Panthers' Luongo ties Mike Vernon for 12th on all-time wins list

Florida Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo continued his ascent up the goaltending wins list on Thursday night, tying Mike Vernon for 12th all-time with his 385th career win in a 2-1 shootout victory over the Philadelphia Flyers.
Luongo stopped 25-of-26 shots in regulation and overtime before making five-of-six saves in the shootout.
The 35-year-old improved to 12-6-6 with a save percentage of .926 and a 2.24 goals-against average.
Luongo accomplished the feat in his 827th game, needing 46 more than Vernon to reach the mark.
Dominik Hasek ranks 11th all-time with 389 victories, and Chris Osgood sits one slot above him with 401.
