Tatar resumed skating Tuesday and will be in the lineup later in the evening against the Blue Jackets after battling the flu over the past few days, MLive.com's Ansar Khan reports.

Analysis:

The forward wasn't forced to miss any games with the illness; more importantly, he didn't seem to be suffering any symptoms of the mumps, the virus that has been laying waste to the NHL for the past several weeks. Tatar said he just had normal flu symptoms and has been given clearance to play, allowing his fantasy owners to breathe a sigh of relief.
