Analysis:

Scrivens will make the first start of the post-Dallas Eakins era, as the Oilers' bench boss was fired Monday. Though Edmonton has lost 15 of its last 16 games, it wouldn't be surprising if Scrivens led the Oilers back into the win column against the sagging Coyotes, who have lost five in a row to assume the second-worst record in the Western Conference. Scrivens has played respectably in three of his last four outings, but goal support from his mates has been at a minimum, saddling him with a 1-3 record during that stretch.
