Dubnyk, who left the ice first during the Coyotes' morning skate, is confirmed to start Saturday's game against the Wild, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports. "I'm happy to get the opportunity and hopefully will help out in getting us out of this," Dubnyk said, referring to the team's four-game losing skid.

Analysis:

In an effort to find some semblance of effective goalie play, it looks like coach Dave Tippett has become resigned to alternating starts between Dubnyk and presumptive No. 1 starter Mike Smith. With a 2.74 GAA and .918 save percentage on the season, Dubnyk wouldn't seem to warrant additional opportunities, but that's a testament to how poorly Smith (3.35 GAA, .889 save percentage) has performed this season. Neither Dubnyk nor Smith look to be attractive starting options at this time.
