Predators' Fisher set to return to lineup Thursday

Nashville Predators center Mike Fisher will make his regular-season debut Thursday when the team hosts the Edmonton Oilers, the club announced.
Fisher, who has been convalescing from a ruptured Achilles tendon since July, skated on a helicopter line (no wings) with Derek Roy and Olli Jokinen at the club's practice skate Wednesday morning.
Fisher's bigger issue, though, has been a cold and a phlegmy cough.
"I've been skating since October," Fisher recently told the Ottawa Sun, before breaking into a significant coughing fit. "Still haven't stopped smoking though."
