VIDEO: Stars' Garbutt delivers knee-on-knee hit on Oilers' Hall

Dallas Stars forward Ryan Garbutt could receive supplemental discipline for a hit on Edmonton Oilers forward Taylor Hall in the third period of Tuesday's game.

Garbutt appeared to extend his leg as Hall skated past, catching him knee-on-knee. That type of illegal hit has led to lengthy suspensions in the past, including a seven-game ban for Matt Cooke in the playoffs last season.

Garbutt received a minor for tripping, while Hall remained in the game but was called for hooking on the following play.
