Blues' Elliott suffers lower-body injury in loss to Senators

The St. Louis Blues leaned on Jake Allen for the remainder of their game against the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday night, as the team announced Brian Elliott had a lower-body injury and would not return.

Elliott went straight to the dressing room and didn't return to the bench after leaving late in the second period.

A Senators goal was waved off because of incidental contact in the crease moments before Elliott exited the game.
