Blackhawks' Sharp expected to return vs. Blues on Dec. 3
Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Sharp is inching closer to returning to the lineup, and his head coach now has a specific target date in mind.
On his weekly radio show in Chicago, coach Joel Quenneville said he expects Sharp to play against the St. Louis Blues on Dec. 3.
Sharp is on long-term injured reserve with a leg injury suffered Nov. 4 against the Montreal Canadiens.
He has resumed skating on his own and is nearing a return to practice.
