Bruins' Kelly will not play Saturday vs. Canadiens

Russell LaBounty / USA TODAY Sports

The Boston Bruins are going to be extremely shorthanded when they face the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night.

Depth center Chris Kelly is the latest Bruin to miss the game, while David Krejci and Brad Marchand are also unavailable.

Kelly will be replaced in the lineup by 24-year-old Matt Lindblad, a veteran of just two NHL games, according to CSNNE's Joe Haggerty.

In 21 games with the Bruins this season, Kelly has scored two goals and contributed eight points while logging second line minutes at even-strength.
