New Jersey Devils goaltender Cory Schneider's team-record streak of consecutive starts will come to an end on Saturday night.

Scott Clemmensen will start for the Devils against the Calgary Flames, the team announced.

Schneider stopped all 29 shots he faced against the Edmonton Oilers in a 2-0 win Friday night. It was his 20th straight start in goal, which surpassed Martin Brodeur's previous franchise record of 19.

He is 9-8-2 this season with a .914 save percentage and a goals-against average of 2.58.

Clemmensen was recalled by the Devils on Monday. He has appeared in two games at the NHL level this season, allowing four goals in 37 minutes. It will be his first start for the Devils in nearly six years.
