NHL Game Summary - Detroit at Winnipeg

Winnipeg, MB (SportsNetwork.com) - Tomas Tatar scored the winner at 15:10 of the third period, lifting the Detroit Red Wings to a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday.

Tatar's second goal of the game came 2:10 after Justin Abdelkader tied the score at 3-3 for the Red Wings, who have won back-to-back games for the first time in three weeks.

They were coming off a 5-0 decision over Columbus on Tuesday and climbed back from deficits of 2-0 and 3-2.

Abdelkader scored on a deflection and set then up Tatar's goal with a pass into the slot from the low left side.

"We came back once so we knew it was going to be in the back of their heads," said Johan Franzen, who also scored for Detroit. "They'd be a bit insecure with the lead when they dropped two goals against us. So we stuck with it and had a good road game."

Detroit's Petr Mrazek made 28 saves in his first game of the season.

Dustin Byfuglien, Adam Lowry and Mathieu Perreault scored for the Jets and Ondrej Pavelec gave up four goals on 27 shots.

"We just couldn't finish it in the third period," said Pavelec.

Byfuglien snapped a 14-game goalless drought 2:15 into the second period off a backward between-the-legs pass from teammate Evander Kane and the Jets took a 2-0 lead on Lowry's tip-in around seven minutes later at the end of a rush.

Detroit tied the score with goals from Tatar and Franzen 2:50 apart. Tatar scored 30 seconds after Lowry and Franzen used a nice individual effort on the left side to score on a power play.

Perreault gave the Jets the lead back with 3:48 remaining in the period after getting his own rebound off a shot that hit the end boards.
