Analysis:

Karlsson didn't travel with the team to Vancouver while he remains under the weather, and because he hadn't played since Nov. 16, the Ducks decided to create some roster flexibility by moving him to IR. As a result, Karlsson will also have to miss Sunday's game against the Coyotes, but would be eligible to return any time thereafter.
