At any rate, having Neuvirth miss only a few contests would amount to great news for the Sabres, as it was feared the goalie may have sustained a long-term injury when he suffered an apparent groin tweak in Tuesday's win. Jhonas Enroth will serve as the top netminder for the Sabres in the interim, but unless he plays exceedingly well, Neuvirth figures to remain option 1A for the team once he returns to full health.
