Pavelec will man the net Thursday against the Red Wings, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.

Analysis:

After being pulled early his last time out Sunday against the Wild, Pavelec was bypassed for Tuesday's starting nod, as backup Michael Hutchinson made the turn in the 3-1 victory over the Hurricanes. Pavelec is still enjoying a stellar season in the net for the Jets with a 7-6-2 record and .923 save percentage, but Hutchinson has muddled the team's goalie situation a bit by playing well when called upon. His presence may require Pavelec to turn in a quality outing against the Red Wings to prevent a timeshare in the net from emerging.
